Jane Fransman is the CIDESCO-qualified founder and cosmetic formulator behind Skin Solutions by Jane. Her work is grounded in more than four decades of dermal therapy, professional education and hands-on formulation experience.

THE ORIGIN OF THE RANGE
Seventeen years before the first formula.
Jane did not enter skincare because of a passing trend. She spent 17 years working directly with skin, studying cosmetic ingredients and evaluating professional skincare ranges before creating her first formulation in 2002.
During those years, Jane saw that skin could not always be served well by a single universal routine. Different people experienced different combinations of dryness, oiliness, sensitivity, congestion, visible redness and age-related changes.
Jane wanted greater control over ingredient selection, texture, product layering and the overall experience of using skincare. That became the foundation of her approach: respect the skin barrier, support hydration, select ingredients with purpose and build routines around the individual rather than the trend.

FOUR DECADES OF EXPERIENCE
A career built in treatment rooms, classrooms and the lab.
Jane’s authority comes from accumulated professional experience: working directly with clients, educating future practitioners and continuously deepening her knowledge of cosmetic formulation.
1984
The beginning
Jane began her professional skincare career with Elizabeth Arden, beginning more than four decades of continuous work in skin, beauty and cosmetic formulation.
1985–2002
Four Western Australian clinics
Jane owned and operated four dermal clinics in Western Australia and ultimately completed more than 30,000 professional treatments.
1989
CIDESCO qualification
Jane completed her CIDESCO Diploma, establishing a formal foundation in aesthetics and beauty therapy that she has continued to build upon throughout her career.
1993
National Training Manager
As National Training Manager for Maria Galland Paris, Jane trained more than 500 qualified aestheticians in professional skincare theory and practice.
2002
The first original formulations
After 17 years of professional skin observation and research, Jane created her first original products and began the formulation work that continues today.
2002–2004
TAFE lecturer and lecturer auditor
Jane taught 10 modules at Mt. Lawley TAFE to approximately 120–300+ students each week. She was also selected to audit other beauty-therapy lecturers in a peer-review and quality assurance role.
Today
More than 400 formulations
Jane continues to formulate, study cosmetic chemistry and oversee the founder-led range produced in Western Australia.

Education that never stopped.
Jane’s professional education did not end with a diploma. She continues to study cosmetic chemistry, ingredient technology and formulation practice as an ongoing part of her work.

Jane’s philosophy begins with a simple principle: skincare should respect the individuality of the person using it.
Her formulations are created around cosmetic goals such as supporting hydration, improving the feel of dryness, refining the appearance of texture, softening the look of fine lines and helping skin appear calm, fresh and well cared for.
Rather than relying on one product for every person, Jane considers how cleansers, mists, serums, moisturisers and masks work together as a complete routine.
